I started my autograph collection, now numbering about 200, while living in Beverly Hills in 1963 in a believe-it-or-not cheap apartment.
In the 1970s as a stay-at-home mom I wrote letters to actors telling them what I liked best about their work, including their picture in an ad, then I included a SASE.
Everyone responded, some with personal messages! In the 1990s I met two older women in Utah, who had been teenage members of movie fan clubs.
One of then traveled to Hollywood to meet her heart-throb Joel MacCrae. I purchased their collections.
Then I attended events where I personally obtained more autographs, always telling them I intended to make a full-room collection on my wall along with my artwork.
I did just that. I'm fascinated about history and human nature.
